Dentist Trip

We took the girls for a checkup dentist trip today. Brooke has been a few times (since she was 3 I think?) and did ok. This was her first "real" cleaning and everything though. She did great, no cavities, no problems. This was Brenna's first trip. While her teeth look fine, it was definitely a struggle getting her cooperation. Well, lets just say she didn't. Cooperate that is. She was all well and good watching her sister take her turn in the chair. But once it was her turn, she fought with everything, screaming and refusing to lay down. And he even lets her stay in my lap and put her head in his lap...she knew that trick apparently and still fought it. But he did good with her and still cleaned her teeth and painted them without flouride and said they looked good! The above picture was taken after the scream-fest and after they got their bag of goodies (toothbrushes/toothpastes, flossers, stickers, etc) and a toy they each picked out.

Whew... glad that is over with! Now, we can't wait till her 2 year checkup (note sarcasm).

Anyway, wanted to include another picture of the club of girls that's been hanging out... Oh, I'm sorry. These are princesses!

And a catepillar update... Since the last picture I took, they have formed their chrysalids and are hanging in their little cup. Now is the time to move them (somehow??) to their butterfly habitat. Hmm.. This will be interesting considering they seemingly are hanging on by a thread (literally).. And our piece of paper at the top of the cup they are in (that's supposed to pin to the inside of the habitat) is torn. Stay tuned...
