During the week of Spring Break, Brad took a day off to accompany his family to the zoo not too far away. It was a beautiful day, gorgeous weather and all the animals were out and about and very active!
Brenna thought the monkeys were hilarious as they 'sung' to her. But by far, the coolest exhibit for us for the day was the lion. He came right next to the window as we happened to be there and glared right at Brooke and roared/growled at her. It was so loud! And a little bit freaky! Haha. Anyway, we had a great day. Brenna loved all the animals and playing in the play areas. Specifically the slides. The girl loves going down slides! Brooke enjoyed the exhibits and playing as well. She got a kick out of the most humongous corn dog she's ever eaten. LOL It was huge! Anyway, it was a lot of fun and not too bad of a day trip. :)
