We Southerners get excited over the white stuff. :) And one day this past week we got REAL snow. Real, as in, lasted longer than 2 minutes and actually stuck to the ground! It was loads of fun. When all was said and done, we probably got about 4 inches? At first, I kept the girls up from their nap for a bit when it first started. I didn't know if it would be around long and was worried they might miss the 'big' snow. Well, after an hour of playing in it, I made them go in and take a nap. A lot of the pictures are from this timeframe you'll notice, bc then there wasn't near the snow on the ground that we actually ended up with. Then after their nap, it was still coming down hard and we had a good 2-3 inches on the ground already! So we decided to make a big snowman. Everyone loved it. Barkley was running around, rolling in the snow (it probably felt good to him!), Brooke and Brenna had to be dragged inside to warm up occassionally, and even Brad and I were pretty excited. Snow days are fun days!
Too many pictures, so here's a slideshow (with captions). Enjoy!
