Spooning

I've been holding off on giving Brenna a spoon. Well....I mean, I give her one to kinda use with dinner or whatever. But not that she HAS to use. The other day, though, I decided to conquer my fear of her making a mess or fear of her growing older or whatever the fear may be...and I gave her a spoon with her cereal. Cereal, with milk.

She did rather well. I have to still sit with her to make sure she doesn't get distracted or start playing or something. But she's mastered the skill and she's proud of it!

And I've included some other fun pictures from our playday while Brooke's away (at school)...

Here she is signing 'flower'. Its one of my favorite signs she does. I don't know...it just looks cute I guess. My favorite, by far, is when she signs 'cold'. Its priceless. But 'flower' is cute isn't it?

And 'thank you'...

But afterall, she's just plain cute anyway. Signing or not. :-)
