Last night, we drove the hour drive to go take a "Journey Through Bethlehem." They had the county's fairgrounds set up to where you got there and Herod was telling the wise men to go find the Baby Jesus and bring word back to him where He was. Then you followed the Wise Men through to Bethlehem and at your own leisure, you got to travel through the city with people doing trades and such and of course, at the end, see Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. It was really neat and it really brought the whole thing to life, especially for Brooke. Here she is learning to weave a basket...
Brooke and Chad molding clay pots...
Getting our names written in Hebrew...
Brooke and Cami excited to be in front of the Wise Men's camels...
Me and Brooke in front of the local Llamas. She loved the thought of picturing them in their red pajamas (from the book Llama llama, Red pajama, a really cute book by the way) ....

And of course, the stable with Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus - a REAL baby, not a doll - (the animals were just out of the camera's shot, but they had all the animals there too!)...
