Today my sister and her family came to town for the day to visit, eat, and celebrate Christmas. We're saving up for the turkey and dressing, so we had a non-typical Christmas dinner of chicken spaghetti. :) Lots of visiting, laughing, and of course, gift exchanging. It was a lot of fun. Brooke really enjoys the 'older girls'. And conned them into reading to her book after book after book after book.

To pass the time, the girls spent a lot of time playing the Wii Fit, trying their hand at all of the different games.
Meanwhile, Shannon I guess got bored enough to put together one of Brooke's puzzles. :P

And after dinner and dessert, we dove into the presents.

Brooke scored a princess stocking full of fun Tinkerbell things (her new favorite btw)

Brenna got lots of good necessities and a couple of fun things too! But mostly she was enthralled with the tags....LOL...

And then she put everything else aside and really enjoyed the bubble wrap!

Brad got this cool steak flipper thing-a-majig, along with his long lost iTunes (lost as in lost from the Chinese Christmas the day before)...

I got an super appreciated gift card for pedicures and as a family, we all got the coolest Christmas decoration. Don't know if you can tell from the pic, but it's a 'post' of sorts decorated with lights and garland. The top is a house that says..."The stockings were hung by the chimney at The Scott's" and then coming down the pole there are 4 wooden stockings 'hanging' each with our names. And the ever-crafty Shannon had put gift cards in our 'stockings'. I LOVE IT!

And I think Shannon was pretty excited over her latest collectible we got for her.

And photo evidence of all the estrogen in the room tonight. :D Poor Brad and Kelly...

We had a blast and are so appreciative for our gifts, for the time spent with family, and for the great memories we always make together. Thanks a bunch - we love you guys! (er...or girls I should say)
