Christmas Parade

As I mentioned before, today was the Christmas parade in town. I don't know how long it's been going on here, but it's a huge deal here. It's always the first Sunday in December and they have lots of entries, some are pretty good and put forth a good effort on their float. Others....well....not so much. :-P And we always joke...where else but in Texas do you have a Christmas parade with John Deere tractors that stretch half a mile long or more. Anyway, I won't bore you with pictures from the parade itself, but here are some pics of our girls. Brooke had a great time, esp after she met up with a friend. But suprisingly, Brenna REALLY enjoyed it. She sat in her Bumbo chair and watched the parade intently for over an hour! And even after that, she was content in watching from someone's lap. (yea...the parade is THAT long, it was right at 3 hrs)

The girls waiting on the parade to start...hugs...
and kisses....(doncha love those first slobberly baby kisses?? Brooke does!)...
3 of the 4 girls hamming it up for the camera...
during an 'intermission' as I like to call it. You know the lull that happens in every parade because someone's going too slow or too fast? ....
And finally, here's Brooke leaning over to try to sneak a peak....Could it be? Could it really be? Is it who I think it is????...
It is! It's Santa Claus! The finale to the parade!...
