Tonight was Brenna's first tasting of solid foods - rice cereal to be specific. She liked it I think. We mixed about 2 oz of breastmilk with the cereal and she probably 'ate' (using that word lightly) all but about 1/2 oz of it? And of course a lot of it ended up on her bib, but that's what they make them for right?
Anyway, you can't tell by the pics, but she did like it. She just made this wierd face, like "What is this?!?", but kept 'asking' for more. Every time I'd put the spoon down, she'd start fussing, kicking, etc. Till I got it back to her mouth again, where she'd open up as wide as possible. Think that's a good sign! : )

And another look at Brenna's 'mad face'...hehe...(this was BEFORE we even gave her a bite - she was getting mad b/c she thought she was going to be sitting in that chair again just watching all of us eat! I'm telling you, the girl was tired of just watching!)....
I am a little sad as we've crossed this milestone moment. I know it'll probably help a little with everything but it still makes me sad that she's getting big enough for all this stuff. Why can't they just stay little forever?
