Family Day

Today we had an action-packed day again. I'm not sure what happened to the days of relaxing weekends...but oh well. It was fun.

We drove up to The Woodlands and met up with Brad's almost entire family. He had his cousins in from out of state, other cousins from the Houston area, his cousin and his wife that are missionaries in the Phillipines and of course all the local family that drove up for the day (including us, of course). I say almost entire family, b/c we were still missing an entire crew that live in Kentucky (probably another 10-12 people), plus a few locally that didn't make the drive.

So Brooke got to play with ALL (almost) her cousins from that side of the family and got to meet the newest one. Brenna got introduced to some she hadn't seen yet and a fun time was had by all. And a great lunch! Did I mention Brooke had TWO full hot dogs, the bun included, with cheese and grapes?!?! While the rest of us grown kids had barbeque. Here's some pics from the day...
Brooke and Tristan (he's 2 1/2) chowing down on hot dogs together. Last time they saw ea other, I think they were both tiny babies! Now they each have tiny baby sibling of their own. My how time flies...

One table during lunch, from left to right (or clockwise starting at the bottom): Jenny, Sandie, Judy, Bambi and Tim, and Meridon (aka "Birdie")...
Table Two, from left to right: Cami, Chad kinda hidden in there, Muna, Tara, and Naomi...
Table Three, from left to right (or clockwise): Rex, Bill, Travis, Mark, (must've been the "man table" LOL) and in front - Ally...
And I still didn't catch everyone on camera. Missing a few actually - guess everyone wasn't sitting down eating at the same time.
Still Brooke's favorite cousin to play with cuz they get to spend so much time together, Chad (he's 4)...

Didn't know to bring her swimsuit, but Brooke still liked playing in the water...Here's Bambi pulling Brooke and Ally in the wagon. Bambi is over from the Phillipines (with Tim) and is sooooo great with kids. Every Tues during Bible Study, she gathers all the kids who usually just play and get in trouble, and rounds them up and they have their own bible study. She is so wonderful with them....so kind and sweet...and they all love her so much. Now if we can just convince Tim to get on the bandwagon and start having their own babies... ;)Here she is holding Brenna...A "generation" picture. On the right is Brad's grandmother, "Muna", who is 93! Doesn't look it at all does it? She acts like a 60yr old I swear! And then holding Brenna is Brad's mom, Sandie...Brooke giving the newest member of the clan, Jayden, a kiss (with Muna in the backgroud). I believe Jayden is 2 mos old? (ish?). So she is just a tad younger than Brenna...And Brooke being silly with Birdie. They were tackling each other and caught this moment on camera. So silly...

I think we had intended to take a picture with all the littlest cousins, but yea right... you think it's possible to get 10 or so kids 4 and under to sit in one place together at the same time?! Sooo, that didn't happen. And like I said, still missing a bunch actually. Maybe next time.

Sorry for so many pictures, but when there's this much family around, hard not to include them all. And like I said, I still missed a bunch!
