More Fourth fun

Yesterday we went to a State Park for some Fourth of July festivities after spending the day with family. We got lots of good Fourth of July food (you know, all the junky stuff), free drinks, free ice cream and of course topping the night off with a fireworks display right above us.

We parked our 'camp' about an hour or so before the fireworks began and had fun just hanging out together as a family. Brooke enjoyed the free Blue Bell ice cream. Did I mention they had Cookies N Cream Ice Cream Sandwiches? Do you know how impossible those are to find? I mean...not just plain ice cream sandwiches, but Cookies N Cream ice cream filled sandwiches. Yum! I should've gotten some to go. :P

Anyway, Brooke enjoyed the ice cream, the lemonade and dancing on our blanket. Brenna enjoyed being outside, eating, and laying on the blanket with Brooke. Daddy enjoyed the free ice cream and the family time, as did I. And we all REALLY enjoyed the fireworks display at the end of the night. Even Brenna was watching happily!
Both kids crashed in the car on the way home. After all her dancing and entertaining the people around us, I'm sure Brooke was exhausted!

Here's some pics from our day...

I hope everyone else had a FABulous holiday and got to see some fireworks somewhere. It really makes you feel like a kid all over again to enjoy the beauty of them. :)
