The Big Sister

Yep - that's right! Brooke's going to be a big sister! We are so thrilled! A little scared, but thrilled. And before you ask...yes, this was on purpose and planned! Well, as much as God will let us plan anyway. ;) I haven't actually been to the doctor yet. My first appt is actually on Oct 12, when I'll be almost 9 wks!!! I was going to wait to spill the beans till then, but let's face it. I'm no good at keeping secrets - especially exciting ones!!! But according to my calculations (and we all know that mom's know best!), I am due around May 18. Again, I'm a little worried - the kinda worried like "are we doing the right thing?" and of course the general worries about the health of the baby. So prayers would be much appreciated for me to stay worry-free and for a great support network, as well as a healthy pregnancy!

Obviously, we have told Brooke. Though I'm not sure she REALLY gets it, you know? I tried reminding of her of a pregnant mom we knew that had her baby now. And how the baby used to be in her tummy. Well, now Mommy has a baby in my tummy, so you have to be really gentle with Mommy's tummy. That's when she gave my tummy a kiss. She will also be quick to tell you she is going to be a big sister. But if you ask her if Mommy has a baby boy or a baby girl in her tummy, she'll say a boy..............................sometimes. ;)
