Greetings from Missouri!!!

From the back door of our condo, the beautiful lake:

And directly from our back porch, the ducks like to come up for Brooke to give them breakfast:

Paddleboating with Daddy (Mommy got in shortly after the pic was taken) and this was quite the workout!
One of the THREE beautiful pools at the resort we are staying at:

We are on vacation right now in Branson, Missouri. We stopped on the way up at Brad's friend Terry's house. Brooke talked for 3 days about how she was 'ready to go to Terry's house'. Specifically to see his kitty cats. :) Anyway, we got to Branson the next day and while it was a horrible road trip, we are having a great time here. It was horrible b/c Brooke didn't nap and we got stopped in a bunch of traffic making the drive an extra 2 hrs!!!! But we are here now and our hotel/condo/resort is FABulous! It is so nice to have a separate bedroom to let Brooke sleep in/nap in while we can do other things. It also had a complete kitchen with fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There are small barbque pits outside so we can grill too. But the best part are all the free amenities! We've already been kayaking, paddle-boating, swimming in 2 of the 3 spectacular pools, swimming in the lake that is right out our back door and playing on the playground. Oh..and we also got to take a bike ride - they even have bikes with a seat attached for Brooke to ride in. And this morning, we woke up to ducks on our back porch, so we got out a few slices of bread and were able to feed them breakfast right out of our hands! Brooke loved that! And they say in the evenings, deer will also walk up to the area. Honestly, we haven't spent *that* much time in Branson yet. We were able to catch one show - The Amazing Pet Show - and it was pretty good. Dogs, cats, monkeys, birds doing some pretty cool tricks. We also got our picture taken in one of those old-timey looking backgrounds.....you know, where you get all dressed up fancy. And suprisngly, Brooke was VERY cooperative for that. She even smiled when asked to!!! I think it was because she thoroughly enjoyed the dressing-up part. Unfortunately, I won't be able to post that pic till we get back home since I'll have to scan it. This afternoon we are planning a trip to the amusement/theme park Celebration City in Branson where they have loads of things to do, including the supposed biggest fireworks/laser light show in all this area. And since Brooke loves fireworks, I'm sure we'll stay for that. We also plan to go to a few 'Family Fun Parks' where you can ride bumper boats and play other fun outdoor games.
All in all, we are really enjoying ourselves. It's so nice to have a relaxing place to stay as well. I'm excited to get to do some shopping too at the local stores, plus the outlet malls (yes, malls...plural...there are 3!!!). So, more to come later.......just wanted to share a few pics for now.
