American Girl store...again

So I mentioned, instead of having a party, Brooke chose again to go to the American Girl doll store and get another doll.  She also wanted to spend one night in a hotel while there and go swimming.  Done!  I'll take that deal.  Cheaper and less hectic than a party for sure!!!

So the day we had picked out to go (our only sort of free weekend) was the Saturday that her school was having Spring Fair.  And Brooke was singing with the school choir that morning at Spring Fair.  So we went to Spring Fair for just a short time to watch her sing before heading out of town.

We got there just in time for lunch so we stopped and had CheeseCake Factory for lunch (and dessert!) where they sang and celebrated her birthday there as well.  

From there we went over to the American Girl doll store, where she picked out her doll and accessories.  Isabelle.  

Then back to our hotel, which was right around the corner and was a NICE place.  Indoor pool meant swimming, of course!

Way better than a party huh???  :)
