Why everyone needs a pet

As you can tell by the video, Brooke and Bailey play 'soccer' together often. I can open the back door and let them just go outside and have fun together. They will play together for forever! They both come in stinky and sweaty and lovin each other! It's so great to see her growing up with such a friendly little companion. When she first came home from the hospital, he was VERY protective of her and was so enamored with her. He slept under her crib, wanted to lick her all the time, etc. Then she hit about 18 months - you know, the stage where all she wants to do is chase him and pull his tail. I swear....he hated her. Well, hate is a strong word, but you get the drift. Now, that she has learned how to properly love and care for a dog, he is again her best friend. What pals!
