Today at Sunday School, they wished Brooke a "Happy 3rd Birthday", complete with singing to her, lighting the candles, giving her the above take-home magnet photo, and letting her pick out a present. Brad also happened to have the camera so he got some add'l pictures...
She really hates to be the center of attention and is so quiet and shy, but this birthday stuff is pretty cool to her. She loves being sung to as you can tell by her 'trying not to smile' smile in the above picture. Then below is her blowing out the candles. She then got to pick out a present, for which she chose a green cross bracelet (to match her dress of course).

I *think* this will be the last of the birthday celebrations for Brooke this year. Bet you didn't know that birthdays around our house last for a week at a time! LOL First a school party, then a private one with Mom and Dad, then one at bible study. Another one at Sammy's with just us, then one for a few friends and family, and finally this one at Sunday School. Whew! I'm tired. But I'm glad she had a wonderful time with it all. Birthdays are so special and I'm glad hers was special to her.
