Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

The Tuesday before school let out for Thanksgiving, Brenna's class had the annual Kindergarten Feast.  This is exclusive to Kindergarten, but it is throughout the grade (not just her class).  They dress like Pilgrims and Indians (er....I'm sorry....Native Americans) and sang a couple of songs and then feasted on chicken strips, carrots, grapes, cookies, etc.  Great fun was had by all.

Pictures?  Yes, of course!

Me, painting faces beforehand...

My little Indian...

The only downside to this for Brenna....is that I'm being told that nearly every day in the afternoons, Brenna is falling asleep.  Gah!  I am not sure what to do about this little 'problem'.  She goes to bed early enough every day (or most days anyway) and sleeps till its time to go to school.  I think the problem is that she still needs naps.  She napped up until this summer and Brooke napped all the way till 1st grade.  Brenna's just not ready to be phased out of naps I don't think.  But what can I do????  sigh!

So anyway, back to the Feast.  So it happened late afternoon, at which point she was tired.  Which equates to grumpy. ;(

Here's some video (2 of the 5 or so) of the songs they sung...

Brenna is in the maroon shirt (not wearing her Indian vest) not really participating (told you she was grumpy)
