Happy Thanksgiving!

So much to be thankful for this year! So much.

Its easy to get bogged down with bills, routines, school work, schedules, appointments, making lunches, making your kids eat, etc etc etc.... the list could go on. Especially for us. Life is CUH-RAZY!

But let's take one day to think about how most of the world is less fortunate than us. We have clothes on our back (even if they aren't the latest and greatest brand), we have food to eat (even if its not gourmet or all organic), we have a house to live in (even if its not the most square footage or most newly updated), we have electricity and running water to keep us warm (or cool) and clean (even if we must use it sparingly to save money on our electricity bill), and we have our health (despite the annoying colds, allergies, and random stomach viruses).

There are people out there with much much less and who have it much much worse. Kids with cancer enduring painful life-threatening procedures just on the off chance they may live another day. There are adults who call a box home. There are elderly people who must resort to eating out of garbage cans. Its out there. Its real. And all too often we (myself included) take what we have for granted. God has blessed our family and friends with all the precious commodities. And today I am remembering to be grateful. So Happy Thanksgiving! Hug your loved ones and remember how special they are in your life. :)
