Last night, thanks to a friend, we got to go the the circus! And it was a real Big Top tent circus...you know, the one where the elephants help to stake up the poles for the tent. The last circus we went to was in an auditorium and was fun, but this was great because it felt like a real old school type circus.
Anyway, Brooke had a blast! She loved the animals of course...the elephants, the little poodles going down the slide, the horses. But she even enjoyed the trapeze, tight rope walkers and more. During the intermission, we got to walk around and watch the elephant rides and pony rides. Since it was outside and under a tent and since it had just stormed pretty severely early in the day, it was pretty muddy, but it just added to the 'feel' of the circus.

We happened to run into Chad and his family so we got to sit with them. And of course, Brooke had to get some popcorn. Overall we had a great time and are so glad we were able to go! What fun!
