Spring Garden

We have finally been able to start working outside! We have gotten off to a slow start this year, with all the rain and cold, but finally we are having good weather days that last long enough to get some stuff done! YAY! The last two days, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous! Of course, I hear we're in for yet another cold and possibly rainy Easter morning tomorrow. Anyway, we'll see I suppose...
In the meantime, we've been working hard (or Brad's been working hard anyway) getting our yard cleaned up, the flowerbeds cleaned out, new flowers planted, and working in our garden and on other outside projects. Our whole family really enjoys outside time and we are loving it right now!

Brooke has her own little flower garden next to her swingset. She had one last year and it actually did pretty well. As you can see in a couple of the pics below, some of her flowers actually made it the whole year round. So once again, she got some seeds (for flowers) and yesterday she got to clean out her flowerbed, plant her seeds and water them. She is so excited to get to do these things and really loves to plant flowers (and pick them ;) ). She is such a girly girl most of the time, but when it's time to get down and dirty in the dirt, she's all for it! Here's some pics of her starting her Spring garden.....

And getting some playtime after all her hard work...
