This is her new 'big girl' room.....
The chair rail was the biggest obstacle. I never knew how much work it would be to get it straight, lined up, cut even in the corners, etc. Anyway, but it turned out real nice I think! I'm really happy with the colors. Also, her closet door is done with magnetic and chalkboard paint. A TON of coats!!! I had to use TWO CANS of magnetic paint! But it turned out good as well. The butterfly shelves and the corner butterfly shelves came from Lillian Vernon and they really look nice too. I found her bedding at Target along with some pictures for the wall that match perfectly! There is a small vase on the wall holding some fake flowers that I got delivered to me in the hospital when she was born, so that was kinda fun to be able to use.
Brooke is really excited about her new room and enjoys showing it off already! I think her favorite part is her closet door! Plus she's finding "new" toys in her closet. I was worried about the smaller closet in this room, but I was able to really organize it well and Brad did a lot of good storage techniques in there. She napped in there today, but tonight will be her first night to sleep in there.
Overall I am real pleased with how it all turned out and how it looks and just wanted to share!
